NSA trumps Williamsburg Christian

Since opening its season with a loss on Sept. 1, the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ soccer team has put together five consecutive wins, the most recent of which came via a 4-0 final score against visiting Williamsburg Christian Academy on Friday evening.

Saints junior Tanner Jackson scored two goals, sophomore Chris Morgan scored one and sophomore Owen Firnstahl added one more. Sophomore Christian Berner registered two assists, and sophomore Arik Behrendt had one.

Junior goalkeeper Ryan Griffin recorded the shutout and had five saves.
