Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s softball team smacked 23 runs in a five-inning shutout victory over Cape Henry Collegiate on Tuesday.

Dani Goodman went 4-for-4 with three runs scored, two RBIs and a walk. Katie Peelen got the win, combining with Brooklyne Carr for a no hitter.

Peelen’s record is now 8-2, and NSA’s record is 11-4.

The Lady Saints play at Oscar Smith on Friday and at St. Gertrude on Saturday.
