Harbour View Community Farmers’ Market is winding down to one day a week with the onset of cooler weather, co-organizer David Adam said.
Until the Thursday before Thanksgiving, the market will operate Thursdays only from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., and not on Saturdays.
After Thanksgiving, the market will stop running until the end of April or beginning of May, when it is due to begin again Thursdays and Saturdays.
Through Thanksgiving, the market will be selling fall produce, Adam said, with Batten Bay Farm selling organic produce and Russell’s Seafood offering fresh seafood.
Those participating in the Community Support of Agriculture program can collect produce shares on Thursdays, Adam added.
