Lady Bulldogs top Deep Creek

The King’s Fork High School girls’ basketball team followed up a rough first half with an offensive onslaught in the second, resulting in a 63-45 win over host Deep Creek High School in Tuesday’s season opener.
The Lady Bulldogs trailed 26-20 at halftime, then produced 26 points in the third quarter alone. The team was led by senior Khadedra Croker with 15 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks.
King’s Fork got a major lift from two freshmen; Cydney Nichols scored 14 points and Amesha Miller had 10 points and 10 boards.
The Lady Bulldogs (1-0, 0-0) host Grassfield High School on Friday.
