Robbery suspect sought

Suffolk police are seeking assistance identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that took place early Friday morning.

The clerk at the Miller Mart in the 1500 block of Holland Road said a black male entered the store at 5:15 a.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said. He received an undisclosed amount of cash and left. No one was injured, Klink added.

The man was described as brown-skinned, 35 to 45 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches, and weighing 160 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a beige ball cap, a black puffy jacket and dark slacks.
