Cavaliers dump Truckers

The Lakeland High School baseball team scored the go-ahead run in the fifth inning off a sacrifice fly by freshman Jordan White to defeat visiting Churchland High School 3-2 for the first win of the season.

Senior Tyler Lilley pitched a complete game for the Cavaliers, allowing only one earned run and throwing six strikeouts.

On offense, senior Shane McCaw went 3-for-3 and junior Blake Harris went 2-for-4.
