Police seek missing man

UPDATE: Suffolk police say Evans returned home on April 15.

The Suffolk Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who was last seen on Sunday.



Larry Wilson Evans, age 42, of the 100 block of St. James Avenue, has several medical issues and hasn’t had his medication, according to a press release from city spokeswoman Diana Klink. He is known to frequent the downtown area surrounding the West Washington Street and Main Street businesses. He was last seen by his caretaker.

Evans is a black male, 6 feet tall, approximately 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

While he is considered missing, he does not fall into a suspicious or endangered category at this time, Klink said.
