Bulldogs thriving in tourney

The King’s Fork High School baseball team has strung together victories to earn a berth in the championship game of the King’s Fork Spring Break Classic Baseball Tournament.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs blew out Booker T. Washington High School 20-0. In the prior game that day, Denbigh High School routed Wilson High School 16-4.

On Monday, King’s Fork again played the late game, this time defeating Churchland High School 2-0. In the game prior, Denbigh fell to Southampton High School 6-1.

Due to rain, Tuesday’s games have been rescheduled for today, and the final day of the tourney has been moved to Saturday.

Following is the updated schedule:

Wednesday

4:30 p.m.: Southampton High School vs. Woodrow Wilson High School

7:15 p.m.: Booker T. Washington High School vs. Churchland High School

Saturday

2 p.m.: 5th/6th place game

4:30 p.m.: 3rd/4th place game

7:05 p.m.: Championship game (King’s Fork vs. TBD)
