Two men accused of separate robberies were among 48 defendants indicted by the grand jury this week.

George Lee Carroll III, 53, was indicted on charges of robbery, use of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a nonviolent felon. He is accused of entering the Miller Mart in the 1500 block of Holland Road about 5:15 a.m. on Jan. 3, displaying a handgun and demanding money.

In addition, Galvin Rawleigh Daughtrey, 26, was indicted on charges of robbery, attempted robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit robbery. Police say he was one of two who robbed two pizza delivery drivers on Aug. 11 in the 500 block of Chisholm Lane. A juvenile also was arrested during the investigation.

In addition, a man accused of multiple sex acts with a 16-year-old between September and December of last year was indicted.

Dennis Bernard West, 49, will face arraignment on June 20.
