A Suffolk man faces charges after a rash of car break-ins on Pennsylvania Avenue, Virginia Avenue and Military Road on Sunday.

Lexus Donovan Thomas, 18, is charged with five counts of petit larceny, six counts of entering or setting a vehicle in motion and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Items taken included various electronic devices and loose change, city spokesman Tim Kelley said. Some of the items were recovered at the time of the arrest, he added.

A 14-year-old male also was interviewed in connection with the crimes. The investigation is ongoing.
