Host Grassfield High School’s girls’ volleyball team defeated King’s Fork High School 3-1 on Thursday, 25-15, 25-8, 22-25, 25-22.

Lady Bulldogs sophomore Nia Nickerson led her team with seven kills and four blocks, while sophomore Cydney Nichols had 19 assists.

“The girls showed much improvement compared to the home opener against Deep Creek (High School),” KF coach Sarah Porter stated in an email.

King’s Fork returns to the court on Thursday against visiting Great Bridge High School.
