‘Cats top ‘dogs in girls’ volleyball

The King’s Fork High School girls’ volleyball team hosted Great Bridge High School on Thursday and was competitive against the Lady Wildcats, but fell in straight sets: 23-25, 17-25, 20-25.
Lady Bulldogs sophomore Nia Nickerson led her team in kills with eight and also registered two blocks. Sophomore Lauryn Bailey led KF with four digs and also had an ace.
King’s Fork travels to play Indian River High School on Tuesday.
