The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team achieved a 42-29 home victory over Norfolk Academy on Tuesday.

Leading the way for the Lady Saints was senior Harper Birdsong with 18 points to go with five rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks. Junior Kelly Hogan contributed nine points, and senior Caroline Hogg chipped in seven, with three rebounds two steals.

Junior Logan Harrell added six assists, five rebounds, four points and two steals.

Nansemond-Suffolk (5-0) visits Trinity Episcopal School on Friday.
