Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Tyquan Holloman, sophomore for Lakeland High School football: Holloman completed 11 of his 17 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed nine times for 52 yards and a touchdown in a win against Tabb High School, giving Lakeland their first regional championship berth.
• Darran Butts, junior for King’s Fork High School football: Butts had two of the three interceptions for the Bulldogs in a close 21-13 first-round playoff loss to Heritage High School late Saturday afternoon.
