The Lakeland High School boys’ basketball team picked up its fourth win of the season against Grassfield Tuesday night.

The Cavs won 82-65, led by Keontae Boyette, who had 32 points.

“I’m definitely excited,” Cavs coach Clint Wright said. “Any win we can get, we will take. I think at times we were defending so well it looked as if we had six players on the floor. Our defensive rotation was phenomenal.”

Wright said he liked the way the team shot the ball in the first half, and he also liked how patient the team was in the second half.

If his players continue to stay poised and consistent, good things will continue to happen, he said.

Lakeland will play at Indian River on Friday at 7 p.m.
