Nansemond River and King’s Fork high schools’ girls’ basketball teams have advanced to the regional tournament in their respective conferences. King’s Fork is a 4A-East Conference 17 No. 1 seed, and Nansemond River is the 5A-South Conference 10 No. 1 seed.

King’s Fork will take on Grafton, who was the runner up in Conference 18. Nansemond River will play Salem, who was the runner up in Conference 9.

Below is the first round schedule for the two teams for fans wanting to continue support both teams during the postseason. Nansemond River will be playing at Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach, while King’s Fork will be at home for their regional matchup.

8 p.m. Nansemond River vs. Salem (at Kempsville)

7 p.m. King’s Fork vs. Grafton (at King’s Fork)
