Firefighters responded to a fire in the 6000 block of Spinnaker Cove Court in the Riverfront neighborhood of Harbour View on Friday evening.

The fire was reported at 7:06 p.m., and the first units arrived on scene four minutes later. The residents had evacuated prior to their arrival.

Crews found visible smoke at the crawl space of the two-story home and used a narrow access space in the garage to crawl about 15 to 20 feet to extinguish the fire. The fire did not extend into the interior of the home, but it did sustain minor smoke damage.

The fire was called under control at 7:22 p.m. There were no injuries, but two adults were displaced and are being assisted by friends.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
