Tigers too much for Cavs

Lakeland High School’s football team took its third consecutive loss after being shut out by Oscar Smith High School at home.
The night was not pretty for the Cavs, but it rarely is for most teams that play Oscar Smith. The Cavs were shut out 43-0 on their home field, which gave them their second home loss of the season and only their third home loss since 2016.
Oscar Smith shut out their previous two Southeastern District opponents before meeting up with Lakeland. Tyquan Holloman threw two interceptions for the Cavs, which were his first couple of turnovers on the season.
The Cavs will watch film from the game and will quickly move forward to get ready to face Western Branch High School on the road.
