Nansemond-Suffolk Academy defeated Fredericksburg Christian School on Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association Division II playoffs.

The Lady Saints volleyball team advances to the semifinals after the win at home. It was a great way to bounce back after the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools championship game loss last Saturday at Hampton Roads Academy. Ryan Horton, Addy Greene and Rylee Bono was named to the All-Tournament team.

NSA remains the outright regular season champion.

NSA took a 3-1 victory on Tuesday. Greene and Livian Mathews combined for 25 kills. Bono had 24 digs. Horton had a career-high 50 assists. NSA will play in the semifinals at 2 p.m. Friday at Norfolk Christian.
