All three Suffolk public high school football teams will compete in playoff games this week. Two Suffolk teams will be at home for their first-round playoff games.

King’s Fork High School earned the No. 1 seed in the 4A Region and will have home-field advantage throughout the regional playoffs.

Nansemond River High School is the No. 4 seed in the 5A Region and will have a home game for the first round, while Lakeland High School is the No. 7 seed in the 3A Region and will be on the road.

All first-round playoff games will be played this Friday.

No. 1 King’s Fork High School vs. No. 8 Jamestown High School, 7 p.m.

No. 4 Nansemond River High School vs. No. 5 Princess Anne High School, 7 p.m.

No. 7 Lakeland High School at No. 2 I.C. Norcom High School, 7 p.m.
