King’s Fork High School soccer standout Ashley Bido has made her commitment to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro official.

Last December, Bido gave a verbal commitment to UNCG. She made it official Wednesday afternoon by signing her National Letter of Intent. She had other offers from Hampton University and Albany but felt most comfortable at UNCG.

She said when she first went and visited the campus, she instantly fell in love with it. The coaching staff helped her feel comfortable and confident from the start of their process of recruiting her.

King’s Fork’s girls’ soccer team made the state semifinal last year, and Bido is hoping to pick up where the team left off last season. She was an all-state selection last year for the Lady Bulldogs.
