Bulldogs struggle against Hickory

The King’s Fork High School baseball team struggled with a top-tier opponent in Hickory High School.

Hickory is regarded as one of the toughest, if not the toughest, teams in the district. The Bulldogs hosted them on Friday afternoon and were not able to score a run but did manage to have five hits on the day.

Through the first two innings, neither team was on the board, but Hickory ran off with 13 straight runs between the third and seventh innings. Aiden Gay, Mason Brown, Austin Aydlett and Thomas Beale all handled pitching duties for the Bulldogs.
