The Bulldogs boys’ soccer team is hoping for some rhythm soon with only four games under its belt.

The King’s Fork High School boys’ soccer team is only 1-3 on the season. They are looking for some rhythm to put together a win streak soon. Regardless of their record, Coach Michel Bile’ is confident that his team can do that.

“I think we will get there. I am feeling pretty good about where we are,” he said.

King’s Fork has faced some fierce competition early on in its schedule. The Bulldogs have played schools from the Virginia Beach area, as well as powerhouses like York High School. Playing against stiff competition is helpful, and the Bulldogs know it will be in the long run.

“Going forward, we want to connect more on our passes, and we want to communicate,” Bile’ said. “That will help us get to where we want to be.”

A big emphasis coming into this season was improving on the team chemistry. The Bulldogs believed if they were able to stick together and build on their chemistry, they will have a successful season. With their season still being early, good things could be in store for the Bulldogs soon.

They will face Granby High School next. Bile’ believes if his team commits to passing and moving, the Bulldogs can be successful. King’s Fork will travel to face Granby at 7 p.m. Monday.
