Lady Saints improve to 13-0

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team is 13-0 after a 7-1 win over Manteo High School on the road Saturday afternoon. Reese Byrd pitched to a win as NSA only allowed one run.
It was the fourth game NSA had played that week. No one got on the board until the third inning, when NSA scored three runs. Madison Inscoe went 3-4 with four RBIs and two runs and a triple. Anni Groves went 3-3 with a double, two runs and a RBI.
NSA will face Isle of Wight Academy at home at 4:30 p.m. Thursday after rain canceled a prominent matchup with Greenbrier Christian Academy.
