Lakeland High School baseball team took a 13-1 loss to the Bruins Tuesday afternoon.

The Cavs struggled against Western Branch High School on the road Tuesday evening. Lakeland fell behind 12-1 after the first two innings, which pretty much put the game out of reach.

Andrew Kelley went 2-2 with an RBI, while Cody Anderson went 1-2. Demonta Hawkins scored Lakeland’s only run.

Lakeland will face Oscar Smith High School at home at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
