Lady Bulldogs tennis escapes rival

The King’s Fork High School girls’ tennis team defeated rival Lakeland High School 5-4 Tuesday afternoon at home on Senior Day.

Each of the Lady Bulldogs’ three seniors were able to get a win, whether in singles or doubles. The teams split the singles matches, but the Lady Bulldogs had the edge in the doubles matches. Lakeland will face Booker T. Washington on the road at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
