Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Jonivan Savage, senior, Nansemond River High School baseball: Savage had two home runs in the Warriors’ win over Oscar Smith High School.
• Madison Froemel, senior, King’s Fork High School softball: She a two-run home run to give the Lady Bulldogs the victory over Western Branch High School.
• Madi Wilson, senior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball: She went 7-10 with four RBIs and five runs for the Lady Saints in three games.
