KF falls short on late walk-off

The King’s Fork High School baseball team lost to Oscar Smith High School in 15 innings Wednesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs and Tigers squared off in one of the longest matchups of this season. The game went 15 innings, with Oscar Smith winning 5-4. A walk-off by Oscar Smith in the 15th inning gave the Tigers the lead and win.
Mason Brown and Noah Floyd handled the bulk of pitching duties with each pitching about seven innings. Brown struck out 11 and Floyd struck out 10 while also allowing just one hit and one run. Aidan Gay came in for relief.
King’s Fork totaled eight hits, with Adam Briggs and Juan Marrero both having a couple of hits. Briggs and Marrero had doubles, while Mason Brown had a triple.
