Floyd’s walk-off seals deal for Bulldogs

The Bulldogs baseball team got a home win over its rival Lakeland High School Friday evening.
The King’s Fork High School baseball team defeated Lakeland 4-3. A walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning by Noah Floyd propelled the Bulldogs over the Cavaliers. Lakeland took an early 2-0 lead and held on to their lead all the way until the seventh inning.
King’s Fork scored four runs in the seventh inning alone to earn their win. Noah Floyd and Aiden Gay handled the pitching duties for King’s Fork, with Gay getting the win. Taajh Waters went 2-2 with a run while Thomas Beale went 2-3 with a run as well.
Demonta Hawkins pitched and took the loss for Lakeland. He also went 2-4 with two runs.
