Police seek burglary suspect

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in a burglary and credit card theft.

A victim on Princess Arch, in the Suffolk Meadows neighborhood off Nansemond Parkway, woke up earlier this week to find that the home had been burglarized overnight. Items including bank cards were taken from the residence.

This suspect is accused of burglarizing a North Suffolk home and using bank cards he found there at convenience stations in Hampton Roads.

Shortly thereafter, a suspect began using the victim’s cards to purchase fuel and other items from convenience stores in Chesapeake and Norfolk throughout the morning.

The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras using the cards. He is described as a white male with dark hair, wearing a blue or gray T-shirt with plaid shorts and white tennis shoes.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
