Lady Saints rout Bishop Sullivan

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ tennis team beat host Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School 7-1 in a conference match that ended up with one singles match unfinished due to darkness.

For only the second time this season, the Lady Saints had all their regular players back from injury and in the starting singles lineup.

  • No. 4 E. Pilkington (BS) def. Caitlyn Hannah (NSA) 6-3, 6-0
  • No. 5 Anuja Shah (NSA) def. A. Fox (BS) 6-4, 6-0
  • No. 6 Mercer Hartman (NSA) def. G. Lindey (BS) 6-1, 6-2

Nansemond-Suffolk (5-4, 3-0) continues its conference schedule on Tuesday when it hosts Peninsula Catholic High School, then it travels to Hampton Roads Academy on Wednesday to face the defending state champion Lady Navigators.
