Fifty Realtors from several major Tidewater area real estate companies gathered for a brokers’ open house tour at 1106 Cherry Grove Road North in Suffolk recently.
A luncheon was hosted by Paula Tenenbaum, a Realtor with Long & Foster Real Estate and was catered by The Catering Place in Suffolk.
The contemporary brick ranch of 8,008 square feet, offered at $2.5 million, sits on a sprawling 12 acres of waterfront deep water and has room for horses, as well. The home includes seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, but it has all the amenities of resort-type living that could make it a perfect corporate retreat, inn, rehab center or spa, Tenenbaum said.
Activities include cruising up the James River, fishing off the private dock, playing basketball on the professional-sized court, taking a swim in the solar-heated Olympic-sized salt water pool or just relaxing in the eight-person hot tub.
Dinner can be grilled in the screened patio kitchen while guests shoot a game of pool or enjoy a football game on one of the 60-inch televisions.
